Dunkin’ will celebrate the opening of its 4,000th NextGen restaurant in Jacksonville, Florida, operated by franchisee Rima & Raj, LLC. This marks a major milestone for the brand as it continues to open and remodel existing stores to create innovative NextGen restaurants that offer customers a more modern design, premium beverages, and a more premium in-store and drive-thru experience.
“NextGen is driving the brand forward and continuing to exceed growth goals,” said Scott Murphy, Chief Brand Officer at Inspire. “It’s also creating a more premium experience for Dunkin’ that our customers and team members can enjoy.”
Since the brand hit the 3,000 NextGen restaurant opening milestone in October 2023, Dunkin’ has transformed at an incredible pace, opening a new or renovated NextGen restaurant every six hours. NextGen restaurants feature the latest technology and continue to offer innovative menu items that customers love.
They also feature Dunkin’ on Demand, a fully integrated digital self-ordering kiosk that gives customers control over how they order by choosing whether they want an attendant to assist them. In addition, NextGen restaurants feature a dedicated mobile pickup area that allows Dunkin’ Rewards members to order ahead of time and get in and out of the restaurant faster than ever before.
“Dunkin’ continues to offer exciting innovation and growth opportunities in the evolving restaurant industry,” said Andy Patel, franchisee at Rima & Raj, LLC. “Building and remodeling our restaurants with NextGen design philosophies has enabled us to leverage new menu offerings and technology integrations to elevate the overall guest experience while driving positive business results.”
As part of the grand opening, franchisees and Dunkin’ team members held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and offered 100 days of free coffee to the first 100 guests, in addition to other surprise giveaways.
In celebration of Independence Day, Dunkin’ donated 4,000 pounds of coffee to the United Service Organizations (USO) to support U.S. military personnel. The Dunkin’ Childhood Foundation also donated $2,500 in matching funds to support the nearby Feeding Northeast Florida Food Bank, bringing the total donation from franchisee Rima & Raj, LLC and the foundation to $5,000.
