To kick off Pride Month in June, California-based Randy’s Donuts is launching a new inclusive Pride Flag Donut, a raised doughnut topped with vanilla frosting and the inclusive Pride Flag colors.
Throughout June, Randy’s Donuts will sell Pride Flag Donuts ($2.85 to $2.95 each) and rainbow merchandise (socks, t-shirts and baseball caps) at all of its stores, with proceeds from each store donated to local LGBTQ+ centers in each of its markets.
The donut shop‘s Torrance and El Segundo locations will support the South Bay LGBTQ Center, the Costa Mesa location will support the Orange County LGBTQ Center, the Pasadena location will support the San Gabriel Valley LGBTQ Center, and the Inglewood and Downey locations will support the Los Angeles LGBTQ Center.
Additionally, Randy’s Donuts El Segundo will be designated as a donation drop-off point for Christopher Street West LA Pride’s “Pride Makes A Difference,” a 30-day event in partnership with Big Sunday.
Big Sunday is about volunteering, community service, and donating time, goods, and money to causes that benefit the LGBTQ+ community.
Donations include non-perishable food items, hygiene products, new socks, new underwear, and new shoes. Donation boxes will only be available during store hours from June 4 to 30.
