Ghirardelli announces the launch of its new gluten-free Double Chocolate Brownie Mix. Gluten-free consumers can now enjoy the delicious taste of Ghirardelli brownies and use the same chocolate.
“This highly anticipated product allows everyone to enjoy the rich, chocolatey goodness of Ghirardelli’s beloved Double Chocolate Brownie,” said David Dulyx, Vice President of Ghirardelli’s Licensed and Specialty Products Division (PPD). “We are excited to bring the same treasured craftsmanship and luxurious indulgence into the kitchens of all home bakers, regardless of their dietary needs.”
The new gluten-free Double Chocolate Brownie Mix combines premium semisweet and bittersweet chocolate chips with a unique cocoa powder recipe and a hint of vanilla extract to create Ghirardelli’s signature flavor. Mix 18 ounces of brownie mix with butter, water, cooking oil and an egg to create a rich, soft, gluten-free brownie in an 8×8 inch size. This gluten-free recipe uses brown rice flour instead of wheat flour.
Ghirardelli Gluten-Free Double Chocolate Brownie Mix starts at $5.99 and is available at Walmart, Kroger and other participating grocery retailers nationwide.
