Residents and staff at Rose Lodge Care Home in Wisbech received a generous donation of doughnuts from the Tesco store in Cromwell Road.
Donna Powell, a local financial planner from APS Legal & Associates, also visited the home to discuss financial planning, including wills, probate and powers of attorney.
One of the residents of Rose Lodge shared their thoughts on the day.
They said: “We had a lovely afternoon eating these delicious cakes, my favourite being the cream doughnut, and then we all talked about plans for the future, which I think is really important as it’s not always something people want to talk about, but it’s something they should talk about.”
Rose Lodge is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers, which is committed to providing high quality care across its care homes and hospitals.
Rose Lodge provides residential care, nursing care, dementia care and respite care.
