Federal Donuts & Chicken has opened its first New Jersey location in Marlton.
While technically just a “soft opening” (official opening is Friday, April 26), Federal Donuts Marlton is open from 7am to 7pm (but closes at 3pm on Easter Sunday).
Federal Donuts & Chicken is a Philadelphia-based restaurant brand founded in 2011. Founded by 5 friends, including James Beard Award-winning restaurateurs Michael Solomonov and Steve Cook, Federal Donuts & Chicken serves freshly made, premium donuts, fried chicken, and coffee.
While focusing on a small menu and serving it up with quality preparation is nothing unique… the combination of donuts and chicken was a one-of-a-kind menu option when it was first developed nearly 15 years ago.
Federal Donuts & Chicken also prides itself on its warm hospitality and deep commitment to the community.
When Federal Donuts & Chicken first opened in 2011, it took the Philadelphia food scene by storm, with customers lining up in front of its original location.
In November 2012, renowned Philadelphia Inquirer restaurant critic Craig LaBan gave them high praise, particularly for the “freshly fried doughnuts, which are wonderfully light,” and the “more sophisticated, pre-glazed fancy doughnuts, which are already top-notch from the start.”
