Duck Donuts has announced that it is offering a free classic sweet treat in celebration of National Donut Day. Customers are invited to visit any Duck Donuts location on Friday, June 6, and each customer will receive a free cinnamon sugar donut, no purchase necessary, only in-store.
In addition to the freebie, guests can enjoy a one-day-only offer of a half-dozen cinnamon sugar donuts for just $6 in-store and online.
National Donut Day, traditionally celebrated on the first Friday in June, was established in 1938 by the Salvation Army of Chicago to honor the women (known as “donut girls”) who provided donuts to soldiers during World War I.
